The Star Maker School is in the business of training talented young performers. And we have been very successful over the past 37 years. Our students have gone on in the professional dance world to have wonderful experiences on stage in film, tv, commercials, voice over and theater. Some have done company concert work while others have performed in some of the most famous arenas in the world. Many have gone on to have very successful teaching careers.
But the fact is that the majority of students at any dance or performing studio do not go on to have a professional dance career. So what is there to gain from the countless hours of practice, the financial investment made and the personal sacrifice paid in the pursuit of developing talent in the arts?
At The Star Maker School we strive to provide our students with not only the technical dance, music and acting skills to pursue a professional career, should they be interested, but more importantly arm them with essential life skills that lead to success in whatever they pursue.
Wonderful memories are made, lifelong friendships are formed and great work habits are developed. Goals are made and young dancers learn to work towards attaining those goals.
The Star Maker School provides outstanding technical training in a positive environment that focuses on dependability, punctuality, responsibility, respect, and teamwork. These skills enable our students to excel in every aspect of their lives.
We have high expectations for our students at Star Maker. High expectations are the launch pad for high achievement. Our students experience great success in the performance arena. They are prepared for any performance opportunities that could come their way. They learn first hand that hard work pays off. Much is expected of them, and they gain great confidence, self-esteem and perspective in the process.

The Star Maker School Philosophy

The Physical Studio ~ Flemington

Next to Hunterdon Music on the Route 31 and 202 Circle
In the center of Flemington Borough's busy commercial district.
- The new location includes a total of 34OO square feet.
- The main entrance faces Route 12.
- The new location has 5 rehearsal rooms.
1. Studio A: Private or Semi Private & Small Group, Music Lessons, Voice Lessons, Acting Lessons and Consulting or Costuming Appointments.
2. Studio B: equipped with state of the art casting lighting and backdrops. In this studio child actors and singers are taped for audition purposes. Audition tapes are edited and sent to NY and LA for those students interested in professional work.
3. Studio C: large dance room used for group and solo dance instruction.
4. Studio D is our largest dance room used for large group classes and production purposes. This room also doubles as a black box style performance space where Open Mic Nights and Special dance events are held each month.
5. Studio E: used for Dance as well as Acting classes.
There are three bathrooms in the space, including two fully handicapped
The Physical Studio ~ Clinton
This gorgeous facility is located in the heart of Clinton at 46 Old Highway 22 or Route 173 across from the A&P.; This location offers a large, home-style waiting area for parents. It is equipped with a very large suspended dance floor covered in state of the art dance flooring, a brand new high-tech sound system. Ballet barres extend across the entire length of the studio.

Guest Artists
Star Maker brings in professional dancers presently performing & choreographing on Broadway or teaching in NYC to instruct master classes.

Teacher/Assistant Program
Star Maker also has a wonderful teacher-training program in place since 1987. This program puts young dancers who aspire to teach in an assistant teacher position. The program benefits the students in many ways; it allows for a smaller student to teacher ratio and gives the serious dancer a chance to learn the education aspect of the field.
Teacher/Student Ratios
Certified teacher to student ratio ranges from one teacher to 4-9 students at age 3,4 to 5-10 students at age 5,6. 5-19 students for ages 7-11 and 5-30 students for ages 12 and up. In some classes with more than 12 students, Star Maker adds a student teacher to the classroom.

Star Maker sponsors the performing organization, The Entertainers Dance Company.

Chance To Dance Foundation
Star Maker School continues to offer programs to children in need, sponsoring scholarships and events for young performers in training through partnerships with local and state charity organizations.
Kickin' It Wit Kevv
'Kickin' It Wit Kevv' was founded and originated at our school by professional teen actor, singer, dancer and student, Kevin Csolak. It is a program designed by teens for children ages 7-13 to promote healthy self-image and confident movement. The program travels to local recreation and school events and programs to teach an interactive lecture/demo using fun age appropriate music and Hip Hop Dance to convey the message, Keep Movin' to Stay Healthy.
