Dan Pellicano
Acting

Daniel has been acting since his early childhood but only began to study acting in a professional manner since high school. He is trained in both classical and modern acting styles and has a free-flowing and open approach to acting whether it be on the stage or in film and television. He has his Associates Degree in theatre performance and is a B.A. Theatre Performance student at Kean University, where he has also been involved in plays for their resident theatre company, Premiere Stages.   Read more ...

Outside of his education, Daniel is also an amateur filmmaker/screenwriter and has written a number of short films. His professional credits include internet videos for websites such as CollegeHumor.com and Gurl.com, as well as a brief stint on Inside the American Mob on National Geographic. His professional stage credits most notably include Clybourne Park as an understudy and the new play The Beautiful Dark for which he landed a lead role.

Though his acting career has only just begun he strives every day to not make his acting simply "a thing you do to fill time", and though his professional credits are small, his professionalism remains the driving force behind his commitment to the craft of acting. One thing he is quick to remind those he works with is, "Acting is not a game. Acting is an opportunity to explore our humanity." He implores all he meets and works with, both inside and outside the world of theatre and film, to return more often to cinemas and theaters. They are, as he believes, the only remaining places on earth where people can tell the truth. He hopes as his passion, his career, and his abilities develop that he can impart the knowledge which he has gained by working with brilliant directors and wonderful teachers onto others just entering this amazingly complex and truly unique field.
