Jarod P Brown

We enthusiastically welcome back Mr. Jarod to Star Maker's staff for 2008. This is Jarod's third year on staff in Clinton, but he has been a friend and consultant to Star Maker for over ten years. Jarod is teaching our Acting program in our Clinton location.

Mr. Jarod is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, NYC with a BFA in Acting and a BA in English with a minor in Musical Theatre.

Jarod has much experience on stage. His community theatre experience includes; Uncle Henry in "Wizard of Oz," Nicely Nicely Johnson in "Guys and Dolls," the Baker in "Into the Woods," Vernon in "Damn Yankees," and most recently the lead role of Sweeney Todd in "Sweeney Todd."

At the University level Jarod has performed; Huckelbee in "The Fantastics," Guss in "Men without Dates," as Prader in "Andora," Biff in "Death of a Salesman," Louis in "Sunday in the Park with George," Wally in "Hornet's Nest."

His high school credits are just as impressive listing a few, Lazar Wolfe in "Fiddler on the Roof," Moonface Martin in "Anything Goes," Sky Masterson in "Guys and Dolls," Julian Marsh in "42nd Street."

In addition, he has done voice over work for local radio and television commercials.

His film credits include; Saldo in "Border Patrol," Lenny in "Cronicles," Blue in "Fat Men Don't Run," and Scooter in "Bringin' Bacon."

Jarod has been enlightening Star Maker students since 2000.

When not chasing his one year old daughter at home he can be found as the popular MC for many regional and national dance competitions.
