Jihan Armaroli

Star Maker is thrilled to welcome to our staff, teacher and choreographer, Jihan Armaroli. Jihan taught Hip Hop last season as a guest teacher and will share her love of dance and desire to create performance with our classes this season. She will work with our young dancers and with our company program and also continue to teach our teen Hip Hop dancers.

Jihan began studying dance at the age of 6, and successfully graduated from the professional program of the International Dance Center Vandelli in 2000 as a dancer, teacher and choreographer in modern jazz and contemporary movement.

She performed with several companies and also taught and choreographed throughout Europe. Upon relocating to the United States, she discovered her true passion in dance: hip hop. A graduate of the International Student Program at Broadway Dance Center in New York City as a Hip Hop major, she began working with and performing for renowned choreographers and toured with multiple New York artists.

She is now represented by one of New York’s top agencies: MSA.

Her style, a combination of strength, sensuality and strong musicality
grabbed the attention of several members of the industry. She now boasts teaching master classes in London, Cannes and Paris as well as having created stage shows for various European companies. Jihan is also a sought after national level dance judge for competition circuits throughout the U.S. Most recently, Jihan worked as the artistic director for the Paramount/Universal Industrial annual show held in New York City.

Jihan was born and raised in France and now resides in New York City where she continues to pursue a career in Hip Hop dance choreography.
