KURT CSOLAK,
The Star Maker staff wants to sincerely congratulate, Kurt Csolak, 18 for his recent accomplishments
in the professional world of performance. Kurt is the voice of the lead character Speed in the new NICKtoons cartoon
series, 'Speed Racer, The Next Generation' as well as in the DVD series released by Lions Gate of the same name.
Kurt recorded many episodes for Series One of the cartoon and DVD's that debuted in May of 2008.
The show will continue this Fall and Winter and is quickly becoming a favorite amoung children and adults alike.
Kurt modestly signs promotional materials for fans across the country and has been an invited speaker
at the NYC Comic Con this past year at the Javits Center. Look for toys, bedding, clothing and other merchandise
available in stores this Fall with Kurt's character photo and using his voice. Kurt also can be seen in films
on Drop Out Prevention and Alcohol Abuse as the lead characters, Steve and Bobby respectively. He also starred
as Tommy in the worldwide video release, 'Hip Hop Homeroom' released by Vintage Home Entertainment for Sony in 2005.
Kurt's commercial credits include Nut Jobs for Barton's Candy, PSA for ONDCP Push Films, Wii-Atari Godzilla Unleashed,
Harry Potter, and a series of work for the Montana Meth Projects by Alturas Films in LA. He has been an accomplished
stage performer as well participating in the Flemington Raritan Community Theatre performing the roles of Snoopy
in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Kineckie in Grease, Jack in Into The Woods, Judas in Godspell, and most recently
the role of Javert in Les Miserables. Kurt captured the National Showstopper Senior Tap Solo Championship
at the young age of 15, placing second over all senior dancers that year. He is a member of D.A.R.K. a semi
professional vocal quartet and a member of the Comedic Improv Group, Freeze Frame. Kurt will be attending NYU
Gallatin School of Individualized Study this Fall and continuing his pursuit of both academics and the arts.

Kevin Csolak, 11, SMS student for eight years, recently played the lead role of Jamie in Cirque du Soleil’s WINTUK at Madison Square Garden’s WaMu Theatre Fall, 2007. He also performed in the original Broadway cast of Dr. Suess's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas",
the Musical at the Hilton Theatre on Broadway in NYC in 2006. Csolak has had recurring roles on "As The World Turns" as Daniel Hughes and appeared in "The Guiding Light" and "All My Children". Kevin has also had principle roles in numerous Commercials including
“The Bee Movie” Promo for Nickelodeon, “Tyson Chicken,” “Six Flags,” “Sports Authority,” “Kidz Bop,” the “NBA,” “Haier Corporation,” and Huntington Learning Center” to name a few. He appeared as a principle in "Hip Hop Homeroom" with Stephanie of Nickelodeon's "Lazy Town",
an educational children's video teaching math to children through the use of Hip Hop dance released June of 2006 by Sony nationwide. Kevin wants again to thank his teachers and friends at Star Maker for sharing their expertise, love and support throughout the last year and one-half.

Andrew George, Star Maker student for the past seven years, wants to thank Miss Leesa and Miss Kathleen and the SMS Staff for all their support and help during the last year. Andrew is a student of dance, music, voice and acting and has had very successful year performing professionally in commercials, film and TV.
Most recently Andrew can boast a flashback spot on the popular FX television series, "Rescue Me" starring, Denis Leary. Andrew portrayed a younger version of one of the stars of the show in a short spot where he had to ride a skateboard. After the shoot, Leary addressed Andrew stating he was a terrific actor and proceeded to sign the boy's skateboard.
It was an exciting shoot for the talented and aspiring actor.
Andrew at present can also be seen in the "Chucky Cheese" commercials running on Cartoon Network and NICK and will soon be seen in the new AT&T;/Cingular spots. For more on Andrew, visit our Hall of Fame. Congratulations buddy! All the hard work is paying off!

Olivia S. Artale, 6, began her dancing career at the age of three with SMS joining the Tiny Tot Company in September 2007. The group performed in three competitions earning several Gold, High Silver and Silver Awards for their “Peppermint Twist” Tap routine and “Do You Love Me?” Jazz routine. They also achieved their first High Overall Score in Tap.
In October 2007 Olivia was chosen out of 150 children to model for “A WISH COME TRUE” Costume Company. She has modeled four times so far with her photos appearing on the company's website as well as their 2008-2009 Dress-up catalog and 2009 Dance Catalog.
Olivia has enjoyed her first year of competing and is looking forward to another great year. She would like to thank Star Maker and her teachers for all their hard work and for giving her the opportunity to work professionally at such a young age. Thank you Star Maker!

Emily Sparks,6,
has been dancing with Star Maker since she was three years old. In September 2007, she was invited to join the Tiny Tot Company and with her fellow dancers performed in three competitions and placed very well in all. Emily is now looking forward to another exciting year in the world of competitive dance and hopes to excel as this will also be her first year performing a solo routine.
In October 2007, Emily was chosen to model for "A Wish Come True" Costume Company. The outfits she modeled are featured in this year's 2009 Value Catalog. Emily loved modeling, she said, "it was like playing dress-up all day, but that someone actually did her hair and make-up"
Emily will be entering 1st grade this Fall. She lives in West Amwell with her parents, Jennifer and Corey, her sister Ella, 3 and her little dog Shiloh. Some of Emily's other interests are her Brownie Troop, reading, swimming and of course singing.
Emily wishes to thank all of her Star Maker teachers for their hard work and dedication. She is so inspired and proud to be a part of the Star Maker family.
